After eight years, Ceramics of Italy is excited to return to the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC) in Las Vegas, NV from April 5-8 for Coverings, the largest international tile and stone exhibition in North America. Over 100 Italian brands producing cutting-edge ceramic tile and installation products will showcase their latest collections inside the Italian Pavilion, organized by Confindustria Ceramica, and located in the Central Hall. At the center of it all, the Ceramics of Italy booth (Booth C6433) will offer a meeting point and hospitality hub for attendees while showcasing innovative applications using Italian tile.
Once again, visitors will find themselves immersed in an Italian streetscape at the Ceramics of Italy booth “Strada Dinamica” (Booth C6433). The booth, designed by e+i Studio, is situated like an open piazza and features landscaped benches, standing communal tables, and an Italian coffee bar and café, all clad in Italian porcelain tile. The booth will also house an info kiosk where visitors can learn more about exhibitors in the Italian Pavilion and industry initiatives. And, visitors can take a break from the show floor to enjoy coffee throughout the day and delicious Italian gelato in the afternoon from Tuesday to Thursday.
This year, the Ceramics of Italy booth will feature a brand new exhibit to showcase the 2022 Tile Competition winners and their ingenious use of Italian ceramic and porcelain tile. The winning projects will be featured through a large graphic display highlighting the details of each project.
With a focus on wellness and the environment, timeless luxury, and outdoor living at this year’s show, visitors can be sure to expect a wide variety of brand new tile collections and installation products in the Italian Pavilion that reflect these trends. Italian manufacturers are continuing to experiment with lively colors and patterns, incorporating bright hues, artistic wallpaper-like decors, and biophilic motifs that fill spaces with positive energy. Innovations in digital printing have also led Italian manufacturers to produce hyper-realistic stone and exotic marble varieties that bring a sense of elegance and glamor to interiors. And, from innovative pedestal systems for raised flooring to colorful, glossy tiles for outdoor cladding, visitors will find an abundance of tile products designed specifically for outdoor spaces at this year’s show.
Cristina Faedi, Manager of Promotional Activities at Ceramics Of Italy, will participate in the annual “Global Tile Trends” session, where industry experts will highlight the latest trends in tile, with a special focus on luxury, outdoor and wellness. This talk will take place on Tuesday, April 5 at 11am in Room N110.
The Ceramics of Italy International Press Conference will take place on Wednesday, April 6 at 4pm in Room N245 where senior representatives from Confindustria Ceramica will remark on the state of the industry and new tile trends and applications. They will also unveil the winners of the 2022 Tile Competition, featuring outstanding projects from renowned architecture and design firms from across North America.
