By entering your top projects into the 2025 CID Awards, you not only showcase your expertise but also stand a chance to receive the recognition your projects deserve. As you prepare to submit your project by the deadline of December 20, 2024, here are some tips to help your submission stand out!
Top Tips for Project Entries
Enter your projects in the right category. With 11 categories to choose from, ensure your project aligns with the category description the best. Two new categories have been added this year, including artistic installation and artistic design to include projects like murals, mosaics and furniture.
Pro-Tip: You may select one additional category to enter your project into during the submission process.
Submit your best photos (and videos). Photos and videos are key tools our judges use to select winning projects. Please submit top-quality photos and videos and don’t forget to include in-progress photos, especially for installation submissions.
Add captions to your photos. Sometimes, it can be hard to distinguish the materials used in photos. Remember to describe, to the best of your ability, all surfaces and materials shown in the photos – even if they are not tile or stone.
Leave out no details. The details can make or break a project submission! If there were hurdles to overcome or extra steps needed to get the project just right, include it in the project description.
Submit by the deadline. Don’t wait until the last minute! The deadline to submit projects is Friday, December 20. Take your time completing your submission to ensure you use your best photos and descriptions.
