One of the things that makes Coverings so unique is our commitment to providing quality education to the tile and stone industry through our free, four-day conference program. Our goal isn’t just to show our attendees new products, we want our attendees to leave the show better informed about the industry and loaded with knowledge they can use immediately in their professions. Whether it’s from seminars detailing how to better market a business to real-time demonstrations of how to install a specific product, we want our attendees to leave the show with more confidence and better information than when they arrived. It doesn’t hurt that we offer free CEUs for many of our attendees too!
But we need your help! We need your experience and expertise to help us develop the 2013 conference sessions. The theme for Coverings 2013 is Connecting People and Products. As of this week, we’re inviting the Coverings community to submit proposals for presentations to be included in the Coverings 2013 conference program.
We’re asking that all proposed presentations address the theme of the show by connecting tile and stone professionals to facilitate learning, networking and innovation across the industry. We’re inviting anyone who’s interested to submit one or more educational and non-proprietary proposals focusing on the following core themes:
Facilitating best practices in our professions and businesses
Advocating for the use of tile and stone in green building
Stimulating innovative and cutting-edge use of tile and stone
Visioning for the future of the industry – products, people, businesses
Integrating tile and stone with complementary products – fixtures, lighting, paint, cabinetry, etc.

Do you have a great idea for a conference session at Coverings 2013 but don’t want to speak? The Coverings Conference Committee wants to know what topics are most important to our attendees and exhibitors. So if you have a hot topic or idea, let us know! How, you ask?
