This is Nick Lovelady of Sylacauga, AL. He’s standing in front of the Cathedral in Cologne, Germany and he’s holding a Coverings peach. That’s quite a distance from Atlanta, but perhaps we can do better.
During the show last year, we announced a Georgia Peach promotion based on the peach-shaped stress balls we distributed in Orlando. It works pretty simply; take a photo of yourself with your peach in front of an inspiring tile or stone installation anywhere in the world. Use your imagination and take your peach with you everywhere you go. Whether it’s at the mall or the Taj Mahal, get creative!
If you don’t have a peach, you can still participate by following this link to an image of a Coverings Peach. Just save the image to your smart phone or tablet and you’ll be all set. Hold your device with image displayed and you’re ready to be photographed.
Then go to the Coverings Facebook page and upload your photo to the Coverings wall. Remember to include your name, organization and the location where the photo was taken in your photo’s caption. If you don’t have a Facebook account, you can email the .jpg of your photo to us at [email protected] and we’ll upload it for you. For a list of contest rules, follow this link.
All photos must be uploaded by the new deadline of February 8, 2013 and the winners will be selected the week of February 18, 2013. One grand prize winner will be chosen and will win airfare and a hotel stay at Coverings 2013, April 29 through May 2 in Atlanta.
Other prizes will be awarded for the most inspirational tile or stone installation, the farthest distance from Atlanta and the greatest Coverings spirit.
So dig out your peach and start photographing it. In the meantime, register for the show today and remember that it’s all free!
