Designers were tasked with creating a one-of-a-kind indoor koi pond while incorporating a suspended yoga sanctuary. They were given a blank canvas – a rough concrete shell – and asked to evolve the vision from there. They collaborated with the job site superintendent to develop a concept for the pillars and yoga platform. Extensive research in the months leading up to the project led to the determination of a construction method that would be suitable to house koi fish. This project evolved from the ground up, day by day, and it was very gratifying to take this one from a vague concept to a beautiful final creation.
