onPeak is the Official Coverings Hotel Provider

onPeak is the only official hotel provider for Coverings 2025. onPeak includes the seal (shown to the right) on all email communications with Coverings attendees and exhibitors, as well as on the website.

With onPeak, you can book with no risk – there are no deposits, no restrictions, and you may cancel with no penalty 3-7 days prior to arrival (individual hotel cancellation policies vary).

If you do not see this seal on a website or email that promotes hotel rooms for Coverings, it is NOT the official Coverings hotel provider.

Beware of Unauthorized Hotel Solicitations

onPeak is the Official Housing Provider for Coverings 2025. Improper solicitation of hotel reservations from any company other than onPeak, is not approved. Reservations made by unaffiliated organizations may appear to have lower rates, however they may be illegitimate, not have the rooms to sell, have unreasonable cancellation or change penalties, or be completely non-refundable. Please be aware of, and report any unauthorized solicitation to the FTC.

Unauthorized Housing Providers

As an attendee or exhibitor of Coverings, you may be contacted by phone or email by outside hotel/housing companies to secure hotel reservations for the event. The intent is to convince you that the offer is made on Coverings’ behalf, or that the soliciting company is a viable alternative to going directly through our official hotel partner, onPeak. These companies are not affiliated or working in partnership with Coverings, and reservations made through these companies for our event cannot be guaranteed.

Coverings has contracted directly with hotels listed on the official website and works only with our official hotel provider, onPeak. They are the only official representatives that can guarantee your reservation. Making your reservation in the Coverings room block also enables us to fulfill our contracts with the hotels and helps ensure that Coverings is a success. Please contact [email protected] with any questions.

How it Works

This practice (called “room poaching”) is carried out by third-party companies that act as travel agencies, wholesalers, or destination management companies to solicit registrants for room reservations. The poacher might inform registrants that the hotel room block is “sold out,” and that if you do not book with them immediately, you may not get a room. Additional deceptive tactics include distributing forms or promotional materials that appear to be issued by Coverings.

Room poachers make it more difficult for us to meet our room block commitments, and expose us to penalties and increased room rates for current and future events. Room poachers often don’t deliver on promises to customers. When customers arrive, reservations are non-existent or the hotels are not conveniently located. Sometimes the rooms have been cancelled and hefty cancellation fees have been placed on the customer’s credit card.
